Chair Yoga 1

These winter sessions, will help you improve your flexibility, balance and strength. For part of the session you will be seated and you will also spend some time on standing exercises, using the chair as a prop and support. To finish, you will do some relaxing breathing before re-starting the rest of the day refreshed and energised. You don’t need special clothing or shoes - just wear something loose and comfortable around the waist.
Janis Short is a qualified teacher of Integral Yoga and has taught for 15 years. Janis now prefers to focus on supporting anyone, of any age and fitness level, who would like some gentle exercises and stretches designed to improve flexibility, balance and strength.
Six Winter Sessions
Dates: Tuesday January 6th to Tuesday February 10th
Time: 13.30 hrs - 14:45 hrs
Cost: £66 for four sessions or £60 for members of U3A
Location: Fernhurst Village Hall for all sessions
