Chair Yoga 1 & 2

These similar classes will help you improve your flexibility, balance and strength. For part of the session you will be seated and you will also spend some time on standing and balance exercises, using the chair as a prop and support. To finish, you will do some relaxing breathing before re-starting the rest of the day refreshed and energised.  You don’t need special clothing or shoes - just wear something loose and comfortable around the waist.  

Janis is a qualified Yoga teacher and has taught for 20+ years.  She now prefers to focus on supporting anyone, of any age and fitness level, who would like some exercises and stretches designed to improve flexibility, balance and strength.  Janis also runs courses in Improving your Balance and Breathing for Relaxation - to find out about these, contact Janis at the email address below to express an interest.

Dates:  Tuesday 26th May - Tuesday 21st July, excluding weeks of 16th and 23rd June

Chair Yoga 1 Time: 13.30 hrs - 14:45 hrs, Cost: £73.50 for seven sessions

Chair Yoga 2 Time: 15.00 hrs - 16.15 hrs, Cost: £73.50 for seven sessions

Location: Fernhurst Village Hall for all sessions
