The Hub’s 20th Easter Egg Hunt

Fingers were crossed all week for good weather on Good Friday for the Hub’s 20th Easter Egg Hunt. And on the dot of 2pm, parents, grandparents and children flooded to the Hub from all directions to take part. Eighty three children, a record number, queued to get their maps and follow the trail, finding the hidden eggs along the way.

Having not expected quite as many children as that, Pauline frantically printed additional maps, whilst Liz did a supermarket sweep to top up supplies.  Thankfully, no child went home empty handed and a good time was had by all.

This event is all credit to Pauline and Les Colcutt, who started it 20 years ago with it going from strength to strength every year.
